Man charged with spitting at PCSO at West Ham station

A man accused of spitting at a police community support officer at West Ham station has been charged.

Samir Benmouna, of Drayton Park, Islington, was charged yesterday with one count of assaulting an officer, one count of criminal damage and one count of a public order offence.

The 32-year-old, who is alleged to have committed the offences on Monday, has been bailed to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March, 20.
