Man arrested following double stabbing in Manor Park

A man was arrested after two people were stabbed in Manor Park over the weekend.

Emergency services were called to Second Avenue at about 6pm following reports of a stabbing.

A woman in her 50s and a man in his 20s were taken to an east London hospital where they were treated for minor stab wounds

A man, in his 20s, was detained and arrested on suspicion of GBH.

He has been bailed to a date in mid September.

All parties are believed to be known to each other.
