A teenager has been found guilty of spraying acid in the faces of three people in a revenge attack.
Fahad Abdi, of Hampton Road, Forest Gate, was found guilty yesterday of three counts of grievious bodily harm.
Canterbury Crown Court heard how the 18-year-old had been staying in the home of one of his victims, a man and two women, for a few weeks when he fell out with them and threatened them with a knife, claiming they had stolen some of his property.
He continued to threaten them for several days before approaching two of them in St Peter’s Place, Canterbury, on February 10 to spray them with acid. He left the scene but returned 10 minutes later to spray his third victim. All three suffered blisters, burns and temporary loss of sight.
Abdi, who denied the charges against him, was arrested at Canterbury train station later that day.
He has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced in September.
