Forest Gate man charged with assaulting police officers at train station

A Forest Gate man is set to appear in court charged with assaulting two British Transport Police officers at a train station.

John Terry, of Romford Road, is due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court today.

The 34-year-old is charged with criminal damage, assaulting two police officers, actual bodily harm and two charges under section 4A of the Public Order Act, in connection with an alleged incident at Laindon station on Tuesday evening.
