A 16-year-old boy has been charged with stabbing a man in his 20s in Upton Park.

Officers were called to Green Street on Saturday where they found the victims with knife wounds to his hand just before 1pm.

He was rushed to hospital where his non-life threatening injuries were treated.

The boy was arrested and subsequently charged with GBH with intent, attempted GBH with intent, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis.

He is due before Stratford Youth Court today.
