680 cannabis plants seized in Canning Town

Police have confiscated 680 cannabis plants that were being grown in Canning Town.

The bumper crop was discovered after officers executed a search warrant at the property on Tuesday.

A man and a woman, both in their early 20s, were arrested for cultivation of cannabis and fraud.

They have since been released on bail.
