The Copper Box Arena will mark a year since it first opened to the public by offering free skills sessions this weekend.

Activities including basketball, netball, handball, table tennis, Boccia and trampolining will be on offer as well as Badminton and athletics.

Arrive at the arena, in the north section of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, anytime between 11am and 4pm to take part free of charge on Saturday, July 27, and between 11am and 2pm on Sunday, July 28.

On Sunday, Leyton netball team will also be training in the main arena with spectators welcome to watch and on both days toddlers will be catered for with face painting and other games.

The Copper Box Arena was the first of the Olympic and Paralympic venues to open after London 2012. It played host to handball, modern pentathlon fencing and goalball during the Games.
