STUDENT Tashomi Balfour collects his Level Three Diploma in Youthwork from Trudy Kilcullen of the Jack Petchey Foundation at a ceremony that celebrated the academic achievements of the Custom House-based YMCA George Williams College.
Tashomi later went on to entertain fellow students and guests with his saxophone playing to close events that saw the college receive a �30,000 cash gift from the Jack Petchey Foundation to fund student bursaries.
The college made a donation to the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. The donation was raised from sales of a set book used by the College, written by Senior Lecturer Dr Brian Belton.
