Santa Claus paid a visit to Gallions Reach Shopping Park for the Grand Christmas Parade on Saturday.
The big man in red was joined at the Beckton shopping centre by excited children and customers from all over who joined in a day of free seasonal family entertainment.
With the day being kicked off with a parade around around the centre, led by Father Christmas and lucky competition winner Daisy Starbrook in his reindeer drawn sleigh, followed by an entourage of Christmas characters including Snowy the 10ft snowman.
Arnold Catterall, centre manager, said: “We were delighted to have received such a fantastic turnout to our annual Christmas launch event and everyone who attended on the day looked like they were having a fantastic time and were well and truly in the Christmas spirit.”
Children got their pictures taken with Santa on the day.
