A child was rushed to hospital after being in collision with a car this afternoon.
Paramedics stabilised the youngster at the scene in Manor Road, West Ham.
An ambulance spokesman said: “We were called just after 4.45pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
“We sent two ambulance crews and a single responder in a car to the scene.
“Our staff treated one patient, believed to be a child, and took them to Newham General Hospital.”
Police are currently directing traffic which has built up on surrounding roads.
