London City Airport will be holding a series of public exhibitions to consult its neighbours and the wider community about major improvement plans.

The City Airport Development Programme is designed to allow the airport to improve its existing facilities and infrastructure although there are no plans to increase the number of flight movements every year, no new runway and no extension to the existing runway.

The first will be held on Tuesday December 11 at Britannia Village Hall, at 65 Evelyn Road, in West Silvertown from 3pm to 7pm.

Subsequent exhibitions will be held at the Ideas Store in Chrisp Street, 1 Vesey Path, East India Dock Road, Poplar on December 13 from 3pm to 7pm and at The Link Thamesmead, in Belvedere Road, Thamesmead on December 15 from 10am to 2pm.
