Have you ever thought about how decisions are made about health services locally? Have you ever wanted to be involved?

There are a number of ways you can get involved and have your say..

Patient Groups at your GP Practice:

Your local GP surgery is inviting you get involved and have your say on local GP services through joining and developing patient participation groups (PPGs) at your GP practice.

Many host groups of patients to get essential feedback from patients about services they offer.

I would encourage people to join as it is only by working together and hearing what you have to say can we provide the right services to the standard that our residents need and deserve and improve the services that GPs offer. With residents’ support we can provide the best services for local people.

The practice manager at your GP practice will be able to tell you more information.

Newham Patient Forum:

NHS Newham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has established a patient forum for Newham residents to get involved and have their say about their local health services. By joining you can get involved in supporting the redesign of services and monitor the quality of services. People who join the forum can also work with us to plan and commission health services.

If you do decide to join you can learn more about the local NHS as well as meet and talk to your local healthcare professionals.

The aspiration is for the patient forum to evolve into a thriving community space through which local residents and healthcare professionals can discuss and debate the future of healthcare, because as local people we want to make sure we get the best services for our community.
