British Transport Police have released images of a woman they want to speak to after a passenger was assaulted on a train travelling between Stratford and Bishops Stortford.

The attacker, who is believed to have boarded the train between Stratford and Tottenham Hale, pulled out a clump of her victim’s hair and pushed her from behind, causing her to fall off her seat.

PC Christopher Fishlock said: “I neeed to speak to the woman in the images I have released today, as I believe she can provide information regarding the incident.

“I would ask anyone who recognises her to contact us.”
