A catering company has been awarded a share of a £25 million catering contract which will supply food to retirement homes.
Hedgerow Court in East Ham and Cardamon Court in Manor Park which offer independent housing, with a 24 hour care system, will have their food supplied by Elior UK Holdings Ltd.
The so-called Southern region contract for Hanover commences this month and will cover 22 of their estates.
Hanover provides apartments and bungalows which have their own bathrooms, kitchen, lounge and bedrooms.
Operations Director for Elior, John Bowler, said: “The new arrangement will see resident service and choice expanded, underpinned by our fresh food approach and delivered by a catering team who really care about understanding individual residents needs and improving their overall experience.”
