A Stratford printer cartridge store has been named as one of the country’s finest after picking up a top award. Cartridge World, on Broadway, has become only the fourth store in the UK to achieve the company’s ‘Gold Standard’ - a company quality benchmark introduced back in April.

The shop supplies a wide range of businesses, organisations and home users with printer capsules and store manager Amit Patel believes the award is crucial for increasing customer trust.

“It’s essential that all my customers are confident about the quality of our products and having the ‘Gold Standard’ does that,” he said. “It shows that our printer cartridges – both ink and laser – meet the highest standards.

“Printer manufacturers’ own brand cartridges are very expensive while bargain basement ones tend to be poor quality, but by using the ‘Gold Standard’, Cartridge World Stratford produce printer cartridges that are a good value, quality guaranteed alternative to both.”

To achieve ‘Gold Standard’ Amit and his team had to prove that the store’s printer cartridges met Cartridge World’s quality requirement in terms of print performance, build quality and packaging.

The Stratford team also had to show that their store meets every aspect of Cartridge World’s approved quality control procedures.

Alan Cridge, Cartridge World’s business development manager praised the efforts of the Stratford staff. “Well done to Amit Patel and his team at Cartridge World Stratford,” he said.

“This achievement is a great reflection of the hard work that they have put into ensuring all cartridges produced in store are of a consistent high standard.”
