Ontario delegation on fact-finding visit to Newham’s health services
A delegation of health officials from Canada (pictured) visited Newham on a fact-finding tour to see the borough’s current and future facilities.
The group, which represented a range of healthcare provider organisations from Ontario, were on a visit arranged by the King’s Fund charity.
Robert Moore, NHS Newham’s Director of Quality and Primary Care Commissioning led the tour which took in two health centres. Mr Moore said: “We were delighted to host our colleagues from Ontario and demonstrate how services of exceptional quality were vital in improving health outcomes in an area like Newham, and how NHS Newham is planning to build on these with a new health facility on the Stratford Olympic site.”
