Cable car construction has made its debut on the new Tube map released by Transport for London this week.
The project, estimated to cost around £60 million to build, has appeared on the London Underground map as a dotted orange line running from the North Greenwich Peninsula to the Royal Docks.
The words “under construction” with a small picture of a cable car and a mention of sponsors Emirates Air Line.
The dots will be joined up to form an unbroken orange line on the map when it is completed next summer.
At the Royal Docks DLR station, the station will be on the northern side of Victoria Dock, close to Royal Victoria DLR station and a short walk from ExCeL London.
A model of the cabins used to carry passengers is currently on display at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden.
