At about 4.40pm yesterday (Monday), the 376 was travelling down Barking Road when it crashed on the junction of High Street North.

Pictures show dents in the front of the bus and large parts of the bumper missing.

One other vehicle was involved, but there were no reports of any injuries and the Met Police said the ambulance service weren’t required.

Some engine fluid spilled onto the road, and traffic was temporarily diverted from Barking Road as the collision was cleared.

The bus was travelling from the town hall towards Beckton station.
