A burst water main is affecting both motorists and pedestrians
A burst water main is affecting both traffic and pedestrians in Custom House.
Thames Water are currently dealing with a 100mm pipe burst at Freemasons Road, Custom House at the junction with Gadwell Close.
A Newham Council spokesman said: “The carriageway has been damaged by the escaping water and as a result, three way temporary traffic lights will be required to repair the damaged pipe and reinstate the highway. It is anticipated that the repair may take up to three days.”
The Freemasons Road underpass is also affected.
