Detectives are investigating the death of a 40-year-old man who suffered head injuries in an incident the day before.
The man, who has not been identified, was found at a shop in Barking Road, East Ham on Saturday November 6. He was taken to an east London hospital but later discharged himself.
He was subsequently found dead at an address in St Winefride’s Avenue, Manor Park on Sunday at 11.20am.
A post mortem is due to be carried out later today to establish the exact cause of death.
Next of kin have been informed.
