A man has died after he was hit by a train at Forest Gate railway station last night.
Emergency services including a HEMS doctor were called at 9.30pm but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said the incident is being treated as non-suspicious.
The train involved was a Liverpool Street to Clacton service.
A file about the incident is being prepared for the Coroner.
