Mr Tsui, said: “At Ladbroke’s, it is great to give back and support local projects like Tessa Sanderson Foundation and Academy as it coaches and supports aspiring stars of the future through sports and education. It was inspiring for the team and myself to meet a starlet of the future like Jahmal Germain decathlete and one day see him competing in Rio 2016. We believe betting shops are a vital part of the local community and we should do our part in supporting it.”

Tessa Sanderson said: “I am delighted to receive the donation from Ladbrokes to The Tessa Sanderson Foundation, a non-profitable charity and each year we see our organisation growing from strength to strength.

“We have seen many of our grass roots members excel to the next level and more through our assistance and mentoring and we shall continue to do so in order to help each member achieve their goal and gain the opportunity to do sport. We welcome the financial grant from Ladbrokes and their caring attitude towards young aspiring people and the Foundation would be delighted to work with them towards Rio the host of the next Olympic Games.”
