Brave supermarket staff faced a severe public body-waxing to raise money for charity last week.
Employees at ASDA in Beckton spent their weekend yelling in agony as they endured the painful hair removal procedure in front of shoppers as part of their Tickled Pink campaign.
Now in its 16th year, the fundraiser raised over £700 for two breast cancer charities - Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Campaign.
The store also got customers belting out tunes on the karoke on Saturday April 20.
ASDA Beckton would like to thank DJ David from Kings of Karoke, Gallions Reach Retail Park, Lucky’s Gym, and the Beckton Dry Cleaning Centre in Mary Rose Mall for donating raffle prizes for the cause, and firefighters from East Ham fire station.
