Gallions Primary School headteacher Paul Jackson ran 10,000 km to raise funds for the school music programme on Sunday.
Paul took part in the BUPA 10K race in central London on May 27 in aid of the Gallions School Music Trust and Gallions Primary School, raising 332 for school resources.
Surpassing his target of 250, the money will enable all children from Years Two to Six to play a string instrument.
Donations are still being accepted at www.charitiestrust.org/members_data/event/sponsormrjacksons10k/.
