Choirs of all ages and styles across Newham are being urged to take part in a carol competition run by Winsor House Brewers Fayre.
Brewers Fayre in Beckton has launched a search to crown local carol singing stars following the success of last year’s compeition.
It is looking to name a local amateur choir or singing group as the official Brewers Fayre “Christmas Carol Stars” for 2012.
The winning group will win the chance to record a range of carols which will then be played in selected Brewers Fayre pub restaurants across the country over Christmas. Four runners-up will get to perform for guests in their local Brewers Fayre restaurant and both the winners and runners up will receive a complimentary festive meal to help them celebrate Christmas together.
Emma Price, for Brewers Fayre said: “Carol singing really does help make the Christmas period feel all the more enchanting and after seeing such a great response during last year’s search, Brewers Fayre is thrilled to show its support for local singers across the country.”
To enter, send a digital recording (audio or video) of your favourite Christmas carol by e-mail to carolfactor@frankpr.it or by post to Carol Factor, Frank PR, 3rd Floor, Centro 4, 20-23 Mandela St, London, NW1 0DU by midnight November 24. Make sure you have
