Celebrate what’s left of summer with a 5k run around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The Beach Run, organised by activeNewham, is taking place at 10am on Saturday.
It is open to all people of ages and abilities who want to walk, jog or run around the park in fancy dress – the theme, naturally, is beach or summer wear.
All participants will receive a unique finisher’s medal at the BeachEast finishing line.
There is also a 2k fun run for children aged eight and under.
Registration starts at 9.30am at The Podium, by the ArcelorMittal Orbit, and the run costs just £5 to enter.
You can register online at londonathletics.org/summer-beach-run
