Beach East, which brought a slice of the sea side to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park this summer, was forced to close early due to bad bank holiday weather.
The site had been set to close on Tuesday but rain and grey skies saw it shut up shop a day early.
A spokeswoman said: “Beach East was open on Sunday but due to weather did close on Monday.”
But, she added that despite the weather “a few brave kids played in the fountains in their swimming trunks in the pouring rain”.
Despite the weather, the park’s Spark Festival went ahead as planned.
