Are you missing a snake? This slithery fellow was found in Plaistow this morning, and the police are keeping him safe and sound in what appears to be a sandwich bag until his owner can be found.

The reptile was discovered in Upper Road, and is a corn snake.

Corn snakes are not venomous and are often kept as pets.

The owner is urged to call 101 to claim their missing pet.
