A little lamb has arrived in time for Easter at Newham City Farm in Beckton.
Staff and volunteers arrived around 8am at the farm in Beckton last Saturday to find the that the little male lamb had just been born.
Assistant manager Stephanie Parting said: βIt must have been born about an hour before we arrived. We still marvel at how cute they are even though we have seen many lambs before. But then the worry kicks in - wondering if they going to stand up and feed from the mother OK.β
She said the little lamb has not been named yet but that will see what names children visiting the farm can come up with over the Easter weekend.
The farm has about 10 sheep and another three Portland sheep are expecting lambs.
