Thousands of A-level students across Newham will be picking up their results this morning, with cheers and tears guaranteed.
We’ll bring you the results from each of the borough’s sixth forms and colleges as we get them (click on our interactive map to see the latest figures) and share some of the day’s best tweets and stories on our live blog below.
To those students who get the results they were hoping for, we say well done!
To those who are unhappy with their results, we say don’t worry! Life isn’t all about how you performed when you were a teenager and there’s nothing like a set-back to spur you on to great things.
Our reporters will be out and about speaking with students this morning, but if you miss them and want to share your stories from the day you can do so by tweeting us via @NewhamRecorder using the hashtag #ResultsDay, commenting on our Facebook page or phoning the newsdesk on 020 8477 3900.
