Nick Williams, director at Woolwich Works, said: "This programme is all about giving families the chance to experience brilliant live performance, from imaginative theatre and storytelling to hands-on creative workshops. We want Woolwich Works to be a place where children and adults alike can discover something new, feel inspired, and enjoy spending time together."
Young audiences are encouraged to bring along their own drawing materials to take part. Other standout events include Claytime (May 29), an interactive play exploring clay for children aged three to six, and The Bubble Show (June 14), featuring a mesmerising display of bubbles, magic, and science from world record holder Highland Joker.
The autumn schedule features a packed October half-term with The Museum of Marvellous Things (October 11), There’s a Monster in Your Show (October 24), and Out of the Box (October 25). The family-friendly fun continues into November with Mr Sleepybum’s Dream Machine (November 8) and Captain Cauliflower & Marvin the Mischievous Moose (November 15).
For older children aged nine and above, Woolwich Works is also hosting John Hegley: New and Selected Potatoes on May 8. The evening will feature poetry, songs and humour from the celebrated writer and performer.
Families can also look forward to Boppin' Bunnies on June 13, a lively musical session ideal for ages 0-5, with additional dates in August and November.
Woolwich Works is one of London’s largest cultural venues and is easily accessible via the Elizabeth Line, National Rail, DLR and Thames Clipper. Tickets and further information for all events are available at https://www.woolwich.works.
