Fried chicken lovers queued up for the opening of a new restaurant in Beckton.
Popeyes opened at Beckton Triangle retail park on April 17, marking the brand's latest expansion in east London.
To mark the launch, the restaurant treated its first 100 customers to a free Deluxe Chicken Sandwich. The first four people queuing on foot and the first four cars in the Park & Serve bays each won free Deluxe Chicken Sandwiches for an entire year.
Fans in nearby London Bridge queued for over 24 hours ahead of the launch last November.

The restaurant includes 86 seats, self-service kiosks, and dedicated collection points. Customers can also use Park and Serve bays for online and app orders.
Popeyes said the opening has created 70 new jobs in the area. Options include ordering through the Popeyes UK website or app for collection.
