An East London children's centre will reopen with a brand new play gallery, a reimagined cafe and bookshop, and a story tree with treehouse and library.
Discover Children’s Story Centre will close on February 23 for a 12-week refurbishment.
The centre, which has welcomed one million visitors to date, will reopen in May with a reimagined cafe and bookshop, lots of new eco-friendly features and an amazing, accessible Story Tree - complete with treehouse and leafy library.
Rebekah Polding, CEO at Discover, said: "We are greening and growing our building to ensure we are ready for the magic of the next million, bringing the joy of books and stories to even more children."

Discover will be operating from a community space in Stratford Shopping Centre during the closure.
The redeveloped centre will offer its youngest visitors a sensory play space for ages 0-2.
This is being created with the support of Professor Sam Wass from the University of East London’s Institute for the Science of Early Years.
It will feature sensory and active play invitations, including a tactile water feature.
