Professor Amanda Broderick, vice-chancellor and president of UEL, said: "The winter festival is packed with festive and creative activities that bring students, staff, and everyone in the community together.
"At this time of year with colder, shorter days, we want to bring people together, lift spirits, and offer moments of joy.
"Visitors also had the chance to see our brand new neighbourhood health hub, the first university-led primary care pilot of its kind, and it’s how we’re bringing healthcare closer to home for our communities in east London."

The hub provides residents with access to physiotherapy, counselling, health checks, and wellbeing support, while also offering students practical clinical experience.
Throughout the day, visitors enjoyed immersive drumming sessions, ice skating, caricature artists, and a range of digital safety displays.
The event also supported the university’s ongoing winter appeal, which raises funds to support students experiencing financial hardship.
