A five-year-old boy has died after falling from an apartment in Plaistow.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were dispatched to the scene in New City Road 5.58am today (May 16) after receiving reports of child having fallen from a height.
London's Air ambulance supported paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and crews from the London Fire Brigade.

The boy died at the scene.
His death is being treated as unexpected and an investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the fatal fall.
No arrests have been made and a scene remains in place.
