Two teens have been hurt in a double east London stabbing.

Police and ambulance crews were called just before 2pm today (October 16) with reports of an incident in Prince Regent Lane. 

Photos show a crime scene in place, blocking traffic in both directions on the road between Wigston Road and Wanlip Road.

It is near to the Newham Sixth Form College (NewVIc) campus - the Recorder has contacted the college for comment.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Officers were called at 13:56hrs on Monday, 16 October to reports of a stabbing at Prince Regent Lane, E13.

"Two boys, both in their mid-teens, were found at the location, one with a stab injury to his upper arm and another with a cut to his face.

"Neither injury is life threatening or changing.

"No arrests at this time."

The images also show a large police presence at the scene.

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 1.56pm today (16 October) to reports of a stabbing on Prince Regent Lane, Plaistow.

“We sent multiple resources to the scene, including three ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer, a clinical team manager, medics in two fast response cars and members of our tactical response unit."

"We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated two patients at the scene before taking them to hospital as a priority.”

Police have confirmed that enquiries into the stabbing are ongoing.
