Schools across Newham are shut today (December 12), following yesterday's heavy snowfall.

Icy conditions are expected to continue into tomorrow morning.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for London and southeast England. 

Snow and icy conditions are expected to result in difficult travel today and into Tuesday.
