Elderly charity Age-Link are appealing for volunteers this festive period to transport its members to and from a Christmas party in Stratford.
The organisation for the old and infirm will be hosting the event at Chandos Community Centre on Colegrave Road from 12pm to 4.30pm this Sunday and they need drivers to take the elderly residents from Forest Gate and Ilford to and from the venue.
Volunteers are welcome to stay for the festivities including a Christmas Lunch, local entertainment and Father Christmas.
