After 51 days of closure, the roads in Stratford were finally cleared of their Olympic and Paralympic Games trappings.
Taken at 1.45am yesterday, this photograph shows the corner of Alma Street and Windmall Lane looking empty and forlorn as they are stripped of their concrete and plastic bollards and all bright pink signage by Highway Maitenance to reopen the road.
