Supplies are running low at a Newham charity who give free baby equipment, toys, and clothes to hard up parents and carers.
The Baby Bank, based at Oliver Thomas Children’s Centre in Mathews Avenue, East Ham, is used every day by parents, carers, social workers, health visitors and midwives to look after the borough’s little ones.
Items needed are cots, moses baskets, buggies and strollers, high chairs, baby baths, sterelisers, stair gates, baby clothes from birth to two years, toys, and books.
Organisers said Recorder readers gave generously when donations were last running low and they hope big-hearted residents will help them out again.
Donations can be left from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4pm at Oliver Thomas Children’s Centre at Matthews Avenue, East Ham, E6 6BU.
