Three friends shaved their hair off to pay for treatment for a child who suffers from a rare form of brain cancer.
Oliver, two, is fighting neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of childhood cancer, and his parents Natalie and Thomas have launched a campaign called Help Oliver Smith Beat Nuroblastoma to raise at least £150,000 to pay for an operation abroad should he have a relapse.
Natalie, who lives on the Isle of Sheppey, described Oliver as “like any other two-year-old boy. He likes Fireman Sam, Peppa Pig, loves balloons and footballs.”
Lisa Terry, a family friend, shaved off her blonde hair cheered on by Oliver and his parents at Westfield Stratford City on June 1 alongside friends Kelly Hall and Ricky Brown.
