A woman was rescued by firefighters after her car was involved in a collision with a lorry.
Fire crews had to cut one woman free, after another had already escaped from the wreckage after a crash with a lorry in Balaam Street, Plaistow, this morning.
A London Fire Brigade spokesman said: “We were called at 6.46am to reports of a woman trapped after her car was involved in a collision with a lorry.
“She was trapped and injured and we rescued her. There was an additional female also taken to hospital.”
Fire engines from Plaistow, Stratford and East Ham attended the scene. The two women were both taken to an east London hospital, and the crews left the incident at 7.37am.
