A resident captured these images of firefighters tackling a car fire in Barking Road, East Ham.
Ovidiu Urgu was with his children at around 12.20pm today when he heard a loud bang.
“I looked to see what it was and saw a parked car on fire,” he said. “The fire brigade came soon after to put it out. The smoke was really bad. “No-one was hurt thankfully.”
London Fire Brigade confirmed they attended the incident by the Dukes Court estate. The blaze was under control by 12.45pm.
