Youngsters at Richard House Children’s Hospice have been able to see their favourite sports stars and singers in action with two special trips.
Four families were treated to a VIP experience at Twickenham to see England’s rugby match against the Barbarians.
Another four families were able to watch One Direction on the Wembley stage while enjoying the stadium’s hospitality.
Both trips were funded by Citi, a financial services company which has been supporting the Beckton hospice for over a decade.
Sarah Burden, corporate partnership executive at Richard House, said: “We are very grateful to Citi for their long-term support of the hospice.
“The donation of these tickets has meant that families have been able to enjoy two very special experiences and create some happy memories.”
The hospice provides free care and services to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
