The University of East London is hosting networking breakfasts to kick-start busy executives’ working days.
Sixty-minute sessions at the Canary Wharf Executive Development Centre will offer workers in finance, social media and IT the opportunity to learn more about “digicoms”.
Author of Ads to Icons Professor Paul Springer will speak about digital pioneers at the first breakfast.
The centre’s executive director, Phil Ryan, said he is excited about the scheme.
“We’re keen to welcome our neighbours in the area, and offer something of quality and enjoyment so everyone gets a good feel for the centre and what we do,” he said. “Our breakfast get-togethers and business-focused qualification courses will help build great friendships and open up opportunities.”
The first “Breakfast with the experts” is on May 28 at Canary Wharf Executive Development Centre from 8.30am-9.30am.
Places are limited to 40 people and cost £4.95 including breakfast.
The centre is also set to launch its PRINCE2 business course in late June.
