Don’t forget: Newham Heritage Week begins today

Are you ready for a week of history events?

Newham Heritage Week, organised by A Museum for Newham and Newham Council, begins today and will include talks on Newham’s religions, past industry and Victorian suburbs.

The week begins with a launch event at The Gate Library, in Woodgrange Road, at 5pm today and ends on Sunday.

Other highlights include guided tours of the Abbey Mills Pumping Station, House Mill and plenty of lectures.
