Westfield Stratford City hung out the bunting for the Diamond Jubilee and even bought some grass.
Turf and deck chairs were laid out for an authentic festival theme at Chestnut Plaza in front of a large screen for shoppers to watch the Jubilee procession.
Four Dials, near The Bridge, hosted hourly performances from the likes of Hackney saxophonists, jugglers, street artists, singers and dance groups.
For the young at heart, there were giant versions of Jenga, Connect 4 and Kerplunk.
