Over 500 people turned out for a street party in Britannia Village in Silvertown.
Traditional fare such as cakes and face painting featured alongside more modern inflatable activities for the children at a lively street party organised by seven families from the area.
Luckily, Harry Potter was able to lend Newham Mayor Sir Robin Wales some magic for the lighting of the Jubilee beacon.
