Students across the borough will be putting on their dancing shoes to show off their skills at an upcoming event in Stratford.

Guests can look forward to a number of performances with a range of genres including Jazz, Hip-hop and contemporary.
Dance teacher, Zuri Thompson, said she is excited for the show.
“It is going to be a great show and it is an amazing chance for students to show their dancing abilities to a much wider audience,” she said.
“Altogether, we will have an approximate of twenty dances being performed and will include students of different levels so there will be a real mix of ability which is great to look forward to.”
Dance Collection is going into its 18th year and will also include performances from more than 60 current students. former students, professional companies and visiting artists.
Zuri added: “It will be a great experience for all students taking part.
“They are all feeling quite nervous because it isn’t just a performance for them they will also all be examined on the evening.
“But they’ll have the opportunity to perform in front of family and friends and it will be good for them to have that extra support from the audience.”
Zuri added that the students were looking forward to performing at the Stratford Circus theatre.
She said: “We have a really good partnership with Stratford Circus.
“It is a great venue with a great space. We’ve had a lot of support from the theatre.
“The students are especially looking forward to it because we usually take them there on trips and now they have a chance to perform on the same stage where they’ve seen a number of professional performances. ”
The evening will highlight the progression students have made through dance in the last year, by showcasing the talents of a variety of students from the college’s extensive enrichment programme.
Adam Chikhalia is currently studying level 3 BTEC performing arts at NewVIc and will be performing on the evening.
He said the show will help him increase his “confidence”.
“Dance Collection is a great way to showcase the skills we have been learning on our programme.
“It also helps to increase our confidence and experience of performing at a professional venue. I’m really looking forward to it.”
