The Rising will perform at the Cart & Horses


Rock and Indie cover band are back once again for their regular appearance at the Cart & Horses pub on Friday evening.

The four piece group ‘The Rising’ have become a regular on the bill in the Maryland point, Stratford pub over the last few years, with what they are planning to make another night of crowd pleasing.

Nick Turner, Vocalist and Guitarist, said: “We play there once a month and it’s always a good time, and always a good night out, we play music all the way from the 70’s up to present songs like Foo Fighters.

“There is always a good crowd of people down there and they all get up to sing and dance throughout the night.”

The Rising will playing a varied set list with some rock and indie favourites with their own spin on them on the night with songs like Sweet Child O Mine, Jolene, Mr Brightside, Lithium and Run to you.

Just to name a few songs that is, but everyone will be a unique version, with Nick Turner on Vocals and Guitar, Sam Beatie on the Guitar and Vocals, Craig Tisbury on Bass and Rus Hodder playing the Drums.
